The name of my blog, in fact, had been giving out the hint of my identity. ‘Treevillage’ is a directly-translated Japanese family name, ‘Kimura’.
I have read an article which says people might just ignore the “who am I” page on a web log. I believe one of the reasons is readers are interested in the content of the blog, not the person whom write the blog, is it true?
But I also have read that disclosing your identity on the web would cause yourself trouble (i.e. targeted by identity stealer or hackers?) thus, we choose to identify ourselves either by our nickname or real name on the net.
On the other hand, I was wandering if people do actually sometimes read the “about me” page. The reason I thought: people would most probably keep their trust away from strangers (if one do not introduce properly).
Hereby, I have decided to reveal my name behind the nickname of ’sknownotice’. My (family) name is Kimura. Nice to meet you, readers. From now on, Kimura would like to welcome everyone to read his blog.
Kimura is living in one of South East Asia countries, pursuing his degree in engineering since year 2006.
